Montana Women for Lindeen

 

 

We women know that Monica Lindeen shares our Montana values. Lindeen learned from her mother, a waitress, and her father, a truck driver, the value of a hard days work.  She understands the value of an education and the value of reaching out to help one another.  Her dedication to all Montanans, as reflected through her public service inspires us to stand with Monica in her race for Montana’s Congressional seat.

 

Monica is a real Montana woman, wife and mother who stands strong for all women. As a Montana Legislator, she advocated for a wide range of economic justice issues impacting women and their families.  She has fought to improve the lives of women in Montana by supporting livable wages and workforce training grants.  Monica’s support for economic justice has been absolute and she stands against privatization of Social Security and pension programs. 

 

As Chair of both the Montana House Select Committee on Education and the Quality Schools Interim Committee, Monica fought to eliminate discrimination and harassment in our schools, the justice system, and all other sectors of society.  

Monica Lindeen supports health care, not as a privilege, but as a right for all, and as a legislator, she worked to ensure complete funding for CHIP, the children’s health insurance program.

 

Monica Lindeen believes that new leadership is needed when our Republican Administration and Dennis Rehberg sacrifice our family and community programs for U.S. women and children so that multi-national oil corporations can get tax breaks.
